Rather than put up those now ubiquitous and tired of images of shovels and “under construction” signs that looked so cutting edge way back in 2001, we figured this was a good time to just let you know what kinds of posts you can expect as we fill the queue with some of the things that pop into our minds.

Obviously there will be the usual industry blather about SEO, rantings about various business scenarios that arise, and occasionally an insightful piece that strikes a chord with our visitors. We’ll be looking inwards and shedding some light on our core values and how we conduct business. We have other interests as well, so be on the lookout for posts relating to automobiles, dining out and really good cigars if they strike your fancy.

It should be pretty obvious that we’re not going to be (just) doing the same sterile posts that you’d expect from someone in our perceived business space. If you’re a developer looking for the proper usage of an obscure CSS tag, there are a thousand places like that scattered all over the web. (We know, we use them all the time) This blog is ultimately a way for you to get to know us without having to buy us drinks and take us dancing first.

If you’ve made it this far, we hope you’ll appreciate that we really enjoy what we do and trust you won’t mistake a seemingly flippant attitude on our part for laziness or youthful disrespect. (We realize that “youth” is a relative term – however it’s been a long while since many of us have been carded) The fact of the matter is that when it comes to helping you promote and increase the size of your business, we are supremely focused and dedicated. As one of our founding partners once said many (many!) years ago – “if it’s not fun-then do something else, because this is supposed to be fun”.
